Import and project setup
- Imports ASCII STL, binary STL, and minimal 3MF files.
- Supports Android document picker and share-intent driven file intake.
- Stores recent projects locally with source format and slice summary metadata.
Feature breakdown
PocketSlicer covers the full mobile workflow that matters: import, transform, profile selection, slicing, preview, project history, and export.
Preview and confidence
Bed, mesh, walls, infill, and supports are rendered in a hardware-accelerated preview.
Scrub through sliced layers to understand structure before you export or print.
Track estimated print time, layer count, and filament grams in the project state.
Native slicing runs on its own thread with progress reporting and cancel support.
Current scope
PocketSlicer is a working slicer with a real local pipeline, but it is not positioned as a full CuraEngine or OrcaSlicer replacement yet. The focus is a fast, credible Android workflow with the features that already work well today.
